Omg so I've only been on one real date in my whole 23 years of life. Dating is not something people do anymore. People are meeting online, they're damaged from past relationships and are no longer interested, guys are going for the wrong girls, girls are going for the wrong guys, intentions are never clear; it's just a mess. I think it's a mess because people don't date. They don't take the time to get to know each other. Nobody takes their time when selecting a partner. We meet people at bars and text them, then "hang out". How do you "hang out" with someone you don't know? Is that supposed to be the date? That's what you do with your friends. We do things so...stupidly. People who go out on dates now, are people who are already together, which is not really considered dating, it's spending quality time.
My definition of dating: taking the time to get to know someone to determine if you like them on a deeper level than what initially attracted you to a person I'm no fool, dating can't tell you everything about someone. What makes it a date for me?
My Rules for dating (it's only a few):
I think dating would help save a lot of people from a lot of wasted time and heartbreak....
