Day 9 and 10

Day 9 My feelings on ageism

Ageism is something I didn't fully understand until my friend Rachel put it into perspective for me. I'm going to stick to discussing it and it's impact in my career.
I've never noticed it before, but now that I have I can't unsee it. When you're a young/new teacher, parents and other staff members look at you like that. You can sense the distrust, especially when you have parents who are your age or parents old enough to be your mom and dad. It's hard to ignore but I've been advised to let my work speak for itself and that's exactly what I'm going to do. It's going to happen, but it's not going to stop me from doing what I studied to do. BOOM!

Day 10 A fruit I dislike and why
I absolutely abhor bananas. Yuck. The texture is so weird. I can't get with that. The strange thing is that I like banana flavored things.
